You will be a crown1 of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
No longer will they call you Deserted,2 or name your land Desolate.3 But you will be called Hephzibah,a4 and your land Beulahb; for the LORD will take delight5 in you, and your land will be married.65
As a young man marries a maiden, so will your sonsc marry you; as a bridegroom7 rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice8 over you.
I have posted watchmen9 on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,107
and give him no rest11 till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise12 of the earth.
The LORD has sworn13 by his right hand and by his mighty arm: "Never again will I give your grain14 as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled;
but those who harvest it will eat15 it and praise the LORD,16 and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary."1710

The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth:22 "Say to the Daughter of Zion,23 'See, your Savior comes!24 See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.' "2512
They will be called26 the Holy People,27 the Redeemed28 of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.29
