10 Porque antes de estos días no ha habido paga de hombre, ni paga de bestia, ni hubo paz alguna para entrante ni para saliente, a causa de la angustia; porque yo incité a todos los hombres, cada cual contra su compañero

Zechariah 8:10

For before these days
That the temple began to be built: there was no hire for men, nor any hire for beasts;
that turned to any account; the wages earned by the one, and with the other, were as if they were put into a bag with holes, did not prosper with them, or do them any service, ( Haggai 1:6 ) ( 2:16 ) : neither [was there any] peace to him that went out or came in,
because of the affliction;
there was no safety in passing to and fro, nor any peaceable enjoyment of what a man had, because of affliction and oppression by the enemy on every side, and from every quarter: for I set all men everyone against his neighbour;
expressive of the internal divisions and contentions among themselves, which are said to be of the Lord, because he permitted them as a chastisement upon them for their sins.

Zacarías 8:10 In-Context

8 y los traeré, y habitarán en medio de Jerusalén; y me serán por pueblo, y yo seré a ellos por Dios con verdad y con justicia

9 Así dijo el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: Esfuércense vuestras manos, de vosotros los que oís en estos días estas palabras de la boca de los profetas, desde el día que se echó el cimiento a la Casa del SEÑOR de los ejércitos, para edificar el Templo

10 Porque antes de estos días no ha habido paga de hombre, ni paga de bestia, ni hubo paz alguna para entrante ni para saliente, a causa de la angustia; porque yo incité a todos los hombres, cada cual contra su compañero

11 Mas ahora no lo haré con el remanente de este pueblo como en aquellos días pasados, dijo el SEÑOR de los ejércitos

12 Porque la simiente de la paz quedará; la vid dará su fruto, y la tierra dará su fruto, y los cielos darán su rocío; y haré que el remanente de este pueblo posea todo esto
