"Let the nations be roused; let them advance into the Valley of Jehoshaphat,1 for there I will sit to judge2 all the nations on every side.
Swing the sickle,3 for the harvest4 is ripe. Come, trample the grapes,5 for the winepress6 is full and the vats overflow-- so great is their wickedness!"
Multitudes,7 multitudes in the valley8 of decision! For the day of the LORD 9 is near in the valley of decision.10
The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.11
The LORD will roar12 from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem;13 the earth and the sky will tremble.14 But the LORD will be a refuge15 for his people, a stronghold16 for the people of Israel.
"Then you will know17 that I, the LORD your God,18 dwell in Zion,19 my holy hill.20 Jerusalem will be holy;21 never again will foreigners invade her.22
"In that day the mountains will drip new wine,23 and the hills will flow with milk;24 all the ravines of Judah will run with water.25 A fountain will flow out of the LORD's house26 and will water the valley of acacias.27
But Egypt28 will be desolate, Edom29 a desert waste, because of violence30 done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.
Judah will be inhabited forever31 and Jerusalem through all generations.
Their bloodguilt,32 which I have not pardoned, I will pardon.33" THE LORD DWELLS IN ZION!34
