John 1:36; John 5:8-9; John 5:11-12; John 6:19; John 6:66; John 7:1; John 8:12; John 10:23; John 11:9-10; John 11:54; John 12:35; John 21:18 (New International Version)

36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!" 8 Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, 11 But he replied, "The man who made me well said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.' " 12 So they asked him, "Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?" 19 When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. 66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

Jesus Goes to the Feast of Tabernacles

1 After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life.

The Validity of Jesus' Testimony

12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." 23 and Jesus was in the temple area walking in Solomon's Colonnade. 9 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light. 10 It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light." 54 Therefore Jesus no longer moved about publicly among the Jews. Instead he withdrew to a region near the desert, to a village called Ephraim, where he stayed with his disciples. 35 Then Jesus told them, "You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. The man who walks in the dark does not know where he is going. 18 I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go."
