The Jordan formed the boundary on the eastern side. These were the boundaries that marked out the inheritance of the clans of Benjamin on all sides.1

The tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, had the following cities: Jericho, Beth Hoglah,2 Emek Keziz,

Beth Arabah,3 Zemaraim,4 Bethel,5

Avvim,6 Parah, Ophrah,7

Kephar Ammoni, Ophni and Geba8--twelve towns and their villages.

Gibeon,9 Ramah,10 Beeroth,11

Mizpah,12 Kephirah,13 Mozah,

Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,

Zelah,14 Haeleph, the Jebusite city15 (that is, Jerusalem16), Gibeah17 and Kiriath--fourteen towns and their villages.18 This was the inheritance of Benjamin for its clans.19
