Allotment for Asher

24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher,¹ clan by clan. 25 Their territory included: Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,² 26 Allammelech, Amad and Mishal.³ On the west the boundary touched Carmel⁴ and Shihor Libnath. 27 It then turned east toward Beth Dagon,⁵ touched Zebulun⁶ and the Valley of Iphtah El,⁷ and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Cabul⁸ on the left. 28 It went to Abdon,^a⁹ Rehob,¹⁰ Hammon¹¹ and Kanah,¹² as far as Greater Sidon.¹³ 29 The boundary then turned back toward Ramah¹⁴ and went to the fortified city of Tyre,¹⁵ turned toward Hosah and came out at the sea¹⁶ in the region of Aczib,¹⁷ 30 Ummah, Aphek¹⁸ and Rehob.¹⁹ There were twenty-two towns and their villages. 31 These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher,²⁰ clan by clan.
