1God, who at sundry timesand in divers mannersspake in time past unto the fathersby the prophets,2Hathintheselastdaysspoken unto usby his Son,whom he hath appointedheir of all things,bywhomalso he made the worlds;3Whobeing the brightness of his glory,and the express image of hisperson,andupholding all things by the word of hispower, when he hadbyhimselfpurgedoursins, sat downon the right hand of the Majestyonhigh;4
Being made so much better than the angels,as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellentnamethanthey.5For unto which of the angels said he at any time,ThouartmySon, this dayhaveIbegottenthee?Andagain,I will betohim a Father,andhe shall betome a Son?6Andagain,awhen he bringeth in the firstbegotteninto the world, he saith , Andletall the angels of Godworshiphim.7Andofbtheangels he saith , Who makethhisangelsspirits,andhisministers a flame of fire.8Butunto the Son he saith, Thythrone, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousnessc is the sceptre of thykingdom.9
Thou hast lovedrighteousness,andhatediniquity;thereforeGod, even thyGod, hath anointedthee with the oil of gladnessabovethyfellows.10And,Thou,Lord,in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth;and the heavensare the works of thinehands:11They shall perish ; butthouremainest ; and they all shall wax oldas doth a garment;12Andas a vesture shalt thou foldthemup , and they shall be changed : butthouart the same,andthyyearsshallnotfail .
13Buttowhich of the angels said he at any time,Sitonmy right hand,untilImakethineenemiesthyfootstool ?
