1And the thirdday there was a marriageinCana of Galilee;and the mother of Jesuswasthere:2AndbothJesus was called , andhisdisciples,to the marriage.3And when they wantedwine, the mother of Jesussaithuntohim, They havenowine.4Jesussaith unto her,Woman,what have I to do withthee?minehouris not yetcome .5Hismothersaith unto the servants,Whatsoeverhesaith unto you,do it.
6And there weresettheresixwaterpots of stone,after the manner of the purifying of the Jews,containingtwoorthreefirkinsapiece.7Jesussaith unto them,Fill the waterpots with water.And they filledthemupto the brim.8And he saith unto them,Draw outnow,andbear unto the governor of the feast.And they bare it.
9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was madewine,andknewnotwhence it was: (but the servantswhichdrew the waterknew ;) the governor of the feastcalled the bridegroom,10Andsaith unto him,Everyman at the beginning doth set forthgoodwine;andwhen men have well drunk , then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the goodwineuntilnow.11Thisbeginning of miraclesdidJesusinCana of Galilee,and manifested forthhisglory;andhisdisciplesbelievedonhim.
