He spakealsothisparable; A certain man had a fig treeplantedinhisvineyard;and he came and soughtfruitthereon*, andfoundnone.

Then said heunto the dresser of his vineyard,Behold, these threeyears I comeseekingfruitonthis fig tree,andfindnone:cutitdown; why*cumberethit the ground?

And he answeringsaid unto him,Lord,letitalonethisyearalso,tillI shall digaboutit,anddung* it:

And ifitbearfruit, well: and if not, then after that* thou shalt cutitdown.

And he wasteachinginone of the synagogueson the sabbath.

And,behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmityeighteen**years,andwas bowed together, andcouldinnowise lift up herself.

And when Jesussawher, he called her to him, andsaid unto her,Woman, thou art loosed from thineinfirmity.

And he laid his handsonher:andimmediately she was made straight, andglorifiedGod.

And the ruler of the synagogueanswered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There aresixdaysinwhich men ought to work: inthemthereforecome and be healed, andnot on the sabbathday.

The Lordthenansweredhim,andsaid, Thou hypocrite,dothnot each one of you on the sabbathloosehisoxor his assfrom the stall,and lead him away to watering?
