And he said unto them,Thisismyblood of the newtestament,which is shedformany.

Verily I say unto you, I willdrink no more*of the fruit of the vine,untilthatdaythat I drinkitnewin the kingdom of God.

And when they had sung an hymn,[a] they went outinto the mount of Olives.

AndJesussaith unto them*, All ye shall be offended[b] because ofme*thisnight:for it is written, I will smite the shepherd,and the sheep shall be scattered.

Butafter that I am risen, I will go beforeyouintoGalilee.

ButPetersaid unto him,Although*all shall be offended, yet will notI.

AndJesussaith unto him,Verily I say unto thee,That this day, even inthisnight,beforethecockcrowtwice, thou shalt denymethrice.

But he spake the morevehemently*, IfIshould die withthee, I will notdenythee in any wise.Likewisealsosaidtheyall.

And they cameto a placewhich was namedGethsemane:and he saith to hisdisciples,Sit yehere,while I shall pray.

And he takethwithhimPeterandJamesandJohn,andbegan to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
