11And the Pharisees came forth , andbegan to question with him,seekingofhim a signfromheaven,temptinghim.12And he sighed deeply in hisspirit, and saith , Whydoththisgeneration seek after a sign?verily I say unto you, There shall nosign be given unto thisgeneration.13And he leftthem, and enteringinto the shipagaindepartedto the other side.14Now the disciples had forgotten to takebread,neitherhad they in the shipwiththem more thanoneloaf.15And he chargedthem,saying , Take heed , bewareof the leaven of the Pharisees,and of the leaven of Herod.16And they reasonedamongthemselves,saying , It is because we havenobread.17And when Jesusknew it, he saith unto them,Why reason ye , because ye havenobread? perceive ye not yet,neitherunderstand ? have yeyourheartyethardened ?18Havingeyes, see yenot?andhavingears, hear yenot?and do yenotremember ?19When I brake the fiveloavesamong five thousand, how manybasketsfull of fragments took ye up ? They say unto him,Twelve.20Andwhen the sevenamong four thousand, how manybasketsfull of fragments took ye up ?And they said , Seven.21And he said unto them,How is it that ye donotunderstand ?22And he comethtoBethsaida;and they bring a blind man unto him,andbesoughthimtotouchhim.23And he took the blind man by the hand, and ledhim out of the town;and when he had spitonhiseyes, and put his hands upon him, he askedhimif he sawought.24And he looked up , and said , I seemenastrees,walking .
25After that he put his handsagainuponhiseyes,andmadehim look up : and he was restored , andsaw every manclearly.26And he senthimawaytohishouse,saying , Neithergo into the town,nortell it to anyin the town.27AndJesus went out , andhisdisciples,into the towns of CaesareaPhilippi:andby the way he askedhisdisciples,saying unto them,Whomdomensay that Iam ?28And they answered , John the Baptist:butsome say, Elias;andothers,One of the prophets.29Andhesaith unto them,Butwhomsayye that Iam ?AndPeteranswereth and saith unto him,Thouart the Christ.30And he chargedthemthat they should tell no manofhim.
