Numbers 6:23-24; Numbers 6:27; Numbers 22:6; Numbers 22:12; Numbers 23:11; Numbers 23:20; Numbers 23:25; Numbers 24:1; Numbers 24:9-10 (King James Version)

23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying , On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, 24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. 6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail , that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed , and he whom thou cursest is cursed . 12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed . 11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies , and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether . 20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless : and he hath blessed ; and I cannot reverse it. 25 And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all , nor bless them at all . 1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. 9 He couched , he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up ? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. 10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together : and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies , and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.
