For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off , even as many as the Lord our God shall call .
For Moses truly said unto the fathers , A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified , whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone : for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought :
This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear .

And saying , Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein :
For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
Opening and alleging , that Christ must needs have suffered , and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up , and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified .
I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak , and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said , It is more blessed to give than to receive .

Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.
