And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance .

Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed , speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen .
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized , which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
Then the disciples, every man according to his ability , determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness , giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;
Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written ,
I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day.
