Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed , they laid their hands on them.
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Saying , Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in , and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight .
And Ananias went his way , and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said , Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest , hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight , and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
And when they had fasted and prayed , and laid their hands on them, they sent them away .
Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear ?
For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied .
And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
And it came to pass , that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in , and prayed , and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
Who also honoured us with many honours ; and when we departed , they laded us with such things as were necessary.
