Ecclesiastes 1:8; Ecclesiastes 5:1; Ecclesiastes 7:5; Ecclesiastes 7:21; Ecclesiastes 9:16-17; Ecclesiastes 12:13
All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing , nor the ear filled with hearing .
Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear , than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken ; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee:
Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised , and his words are not heard .
The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
