But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come ,
Whither the forerunner is for us entered , even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
For he testifieth , Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent , Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
But this man, because he continueth ever , hath an unchangeable priesthood.
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear .
Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
