And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about , that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said , It may be that my sons have sinned , and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:
If thy children have sinned against him, and he have cast them away for their transgression;
Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up : also he sendeth them out , and they overturn the earth.
Thou prevailest for ever against him, and he passeth : thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away .
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.
When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.
They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance .
Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken .
He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.
Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.
Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.
Howbeit he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.
Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go , and say unto thee, Here we are?
They bow themselves, they bring forth their young ones, they cast out their sorrows.
Who hath sent out the wild ass free? or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?
