John answered them, saying , I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
Again the next day after John stood , and two of his disciples;
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled .
The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered , and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried , saying , If any man thirst , let him come unto me, and drink .
And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast?
The people therefore, that stood by , and heard it, said that it thundered : others said , An angel spake to him.
They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.
But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.
And the servants and officers stood there , who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves : and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself .
And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself . They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said , I am not.
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping : and as she wept , she stooped down , and looked into the sepulchre,
And when she had thus said , she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing , and knew not that it was Jesus.
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut , and stood in the midst, and said , Peace be unto you.
But when the morning was now come , Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
