He saith unto them, Come and see . They came and saw where he dwelt , and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up .
Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked : and on the same day was the sabbath.
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried , saying , If any man thirst , let him come unto me, and drink .
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad .
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh , when no man can work .
When he had heard therefore that he was sick , he abode two days still in the same place where he was .
Jesus answered , Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
Then when Jesus came , he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death .
Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead , whom he raised from the dead.
Then said Jesus, Let her alone : against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you , Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken , and that they might be taken away .
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut , and stood in the midst, and said , Peace be unto you.
