The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
The wind bloweth where it listeth , and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh , and whither it goeth : so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
When Jesus saw him lie , and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will .
He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks , he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down ; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would .
Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went .
Then said Jesus unto the twelve , Will ye also go away ?
After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear : wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying , Sir, we would see Jesus.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will , and it shall be done unto you.
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said , A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am ; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest : but when thou shalt be old , thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die : yet Jesus said not unto him , He shall not die ; but, If I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee?
