Saying , Let us alone; what have we to do with thee , thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art ; the Holy One of God.
When the men were come unto him, they said , John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying , Art thou he that should come ? or look we for another?
And it came to pass , as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said .
And it came to pass , that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased , one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray , as John also taught his disciples.
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed : so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot ; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
But and if we say , Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet.
Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished , which were early at the sepulchre;
