Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold , there was a dead man carried out , the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
And heal the sick that are therein , and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Sell that ye have , and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old , a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth , neither moth corrupteth .
Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
And it came to pass , that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging :
And Jesus stood , and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near , he asked him,

And he said , Take heed that ye be not deceived : for many shall come in my name, saying , I am Christ; and the time draweth near : go ye not therefore after them.
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh .
And when these things begin to come to pass , then look up , and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh .
Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh , which is called the Passover.
And while he yet spake , behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
And it came to pass , that, while they communed together and reasoned , Jesus himself drew near , and went with them.
And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went : and he made as though he would have gone further.
