And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say , Arise , and take up thy bed, and walk ?
I say unto thee, Arise , and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.
So they did eat , and were filled : and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up ? They say unto him, Twelve.
And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up ? And they said , Seven.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest : go thy way , sell whatsoever thou hast , and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come , take up the cross, and follow me.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed , and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass ; he shall have whatsoever he saith .
And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by , coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take .
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
