Now all this was done , that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying ,
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils , and those which were lunatick , and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out , and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish , and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off , and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish , and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
But they, when they were departed , spread abroad his fame in all that country.
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took , and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened .
And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
For what is a man profited , if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
And about the eleventh hour he went out , and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?
All this was done , that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying ,
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come .
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done , be told for a memorial of her.
But all this was done , that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled . Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled .
Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death ;
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
