6Who,beingin the form of God, thought itnotrobbery to beequal with God:7Butmadehimself of no reputation , and took upon him the form of a servant, and was madein the likeness of men:8And being found in fashionaas a man, he humbledhimself, and becameobedientuntodeath,even the death of the cross.9WhereforeGodalso hath highly exaltedhim,andgivenhim a namewhich is aboveeveryname:10Thatat the name of Jesuseveryknee should bow , of things in heaven,and things in earth,and things under the earth;11And that everytongue should confessthatJesusChrist is Lord,to the glory of God the Father.12Wherefore,mybeloved,as ye havealwaysobeyed , notasinmypresenceonly,butnowmuchmoreinmyabsence, work out your ownsalvationwithfearandtrembling.13For it isGodwhichworkethinyouboth to willand to doof his good pleasure.14Do all thingswithoutmurmuringsanddisputings:15That ye may beblamelessandharmless,b the sons of God, without rebuke,in the midst of a crookedandperversenation,amongwhom ye shineaslightsin the world;16
Holding forth the word of life;thatI may rejoicein the day of Christ,that I havenotruninvain,neitherlabouredinvain.
