Holding fast the faithfulwordasd he hath been taught,that he may beablebysounddoctrineboth to exhortand to convince the gainsayers .
10For there aremanyunrulyand vain talkersanddeceivers,specially they of the circumcision:11Whosemouthsmust be stopped , whosubvertwholehouses,teaching things which they oughtnot,forfilthylucre'ssake.12Oneofthemselves, even a prophet of theirown,said , The Cretians are alwayliars,evilbeasts,slowbellies.
