Luke 17:6-16 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
6 He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed,1 you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.2 7 "Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'? 8 Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me3 while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'? 9 Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.' "4

Ten Healed of Leprosy

11 Now on his way to Jerusalem,5 Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.6 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosya7 met him. They stood at a distance8 13 and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master,9 have pity on us!" 14 When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests."10 And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God11 in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan.12
