6Yet we do speakwisdomamongthose who are 1mature ; a wisdom, however, not of 2thisagenor of the rulers of 3thisage, who are 4passingaway ;
7
but we speakGod'swisdom in a 5mystery, the hidden wisdom whichGod6predestinedbefore the 7ages to our glory ;
8
the wisdom 8whichnone of the rulers of 9thisage has understood ; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified10the Lord of glory ;
9
but just as it is written, "11THINGS WHICHEYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE10a12For to us Godrevealed them 13through the Spirit ; for the Spiritsearchesallthings, even the 14depths of God.
11
For who among menknows the thoughts of a manexcept the 15spirit of the man which is in him? Evenso the thoughts of Godnooneknowsexcept the Spirit of God.
12Now we 16have received, not the spirit of 17the world, but the Spiritwho is from God, so that we may know the thingsfreelygiven to us by God,
13which things we alsospeak, 18not in wordstaught by humanwisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, bcombiningspiritual thoughts with spiritual words.
14
But ca 19naturalman20does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are 21foolishness to him; and he cannotunderstand them, because they are spirituallydappraised.
15
But he who is 22spiritualappraisesallthings, yet he himself is appraised by noone.
16
For 23WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But 24 we have the mind of Christ.
