Appeal to Unity

1 Paul, ¹called as an apostle of Jesus Christ ^aby ²the will of God, and ³Sosthenes our ⁴brother, 2 To ⁵the church of God which is at ⁶Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, ^bsaints ⁷by calling, with all who in every place ⁸call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours : 3 ⁹Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 ¹⁰I thank ^cmy God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, 5 that in everything you were ¹¹enriched in Him, in all ¹²speech and ¹³all knowledge, 6 even as ¹⁴the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed ^din you, 7 so that you are not lacking in any gift, ¹⁵awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 ¹⁶who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in ¹⁷the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 ¹⁸God is faithful, through whom you were ¹⁹called into ²⁰fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
