For though I am1free from all men, I have mademyself2a slave to all, so that I may 3winmore.
204To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might winJews ; to thosewho are underathe Law, as underbthe Law though 5not beingmyselfundercthe Law, so that I might winthosewho are underdthe Law ;
to those who are 6withoutlaw, 7as withoutlaw, though not beingwithout the law of God but 8under the law of Christ, so that I might winthose who are withoutlaw.
To the 9weak I becameweak, that I might win the weak ; I have become10allthings to allmen, 11so that I may by allmeanssavesome.
I doallthings for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellowpartaker of it.
2412Do you not know that those who run in a raceallrun, but only onereceives13the prize ? 14Run in such a way that you may win.
25Everyone who 15competes in the gamesexercisesself-control in allthings. They then do it to receive a perishable16wreath, but we an imperishable.
26Therefore I 17run in such a way, as not withoutaim ; I box in such a way, as not 18beating the air ;
but I ediscipline19my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
