71Beloved, let us 2loveoneanother, for love is from God; and 3everyone who loves is a4born of God and 5knowsGod.
The one who does not love does not knowGod, for 6God is love.
By this the love of God was manifestedb7in us, that 8God has sent His conlybegottenSon into the worldso that we might livethrough Him.
In this is love, 9not that we lovedGod, but that 10He loved us and sent His Son to be 11the propitiation for our sins.
1112Beloved, ifGodsoloved us, 13we alsoought to loveoneanother.
1214Noone has seenGod at anytime; if we loveoneanother, Godabides in us, and His 15love is perfected in us.
1316By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
We have seen and 17testify that the Father has 18sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
1519Whoeverconfesses that 20Jesus is the Son of God, God21abides in him, and he in God.
1622We have come to know and have believed the lovewhichGodhasd23for us. 24God is love, and the one who 25abides in loveabides in God, and Godabides in him.
By this, 26love is perfected with us, so that we may have27confidence in 28the day of judgment; because29as He is, so also are we in thisworld.
There is nofear in love; but 30perfectlovecasts out fear, becausefeareinvolvespunishment, and the one who fears is not 31perfected in love.
1932We love, because He firstloved us.
2033Ifsomeonesays, "I loveGod," and 34hates his brother, he is a 35liar; for 36the one who does not love his brotherwhom he has seen, 37cannotloveGodwhom he has not seen.
And 38thiscommandment we have from Him, that the one who lovesGod39should love his brotheralso.
