21so as to live2the rest of the time in the fleshnolonger for the lusts of men, but for the 3will of God.
For 4the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, a5having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinkingparties and babominableidolatries.
In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the sameexcesses of 6dissipation, and they 7malign you;
but they will giveaccount to Him who is ready to judge8the living and the dead.
For 9the gospel has for this purpose been cpreachedeven to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spiritaccording to the will of God.
710The end of allthingsdis near ; therefore, 11be of soundjudgment and sober spirit for the purpose of eprayer.
8Aboveall, 12keepfervent in your love for oneanother, because13lovecovers a multitude of sins.
914Be hospitable to oneanotherwithout15complaint.
1016As eachone has received a special gift, employ it in servingoneanother as good17stewards of the manifoldgrace of God.
1118Whoeverspeaks, is to do so fas one who is speaking the 19utterances of God ; whoeverserves is to do so as one who is servingg20by the strengthwhichGodsupplies ; so that 21in allthingsGod may be glorifiedthroughJesusChrist, 22to whombelongs the glory and dominionforever and ever. Amen.
