View In My Bible
7 1The end of all things ais near; therefore, 2be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of bprayer. 8 Above all, 3keep fervent in your love for one another, because 4love covers a multitude of sins. 9 5Be hospitable to one another without 6complaint. 10 7As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good 8stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 9Whoever speaks, is to do so cas one who is speaking the 10utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving d11by the strength which God supplies; so that 12in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, 13to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Share the Sufferings of Christ

12 14Beloved, do not be surprised at the 15fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; 13 but to the degree that you 16share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the 17revelation of His glory 18you may rejoice with exultation. 14 If you are reviled e19for the name of Christ, 20you are blessed, 21because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 Make sure that 22none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a f23troublesome meddler; 16 but if anyone suffers as a 24Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to 25glorify God in this name. 17 For it is time for judgment 26to begin gwith 27the household of God; and if it 28begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those 29who do not obey the 30gospel of God?
