Are they 1Hebrews ? 2So am I. Are they 3Israelites ? 4So am I. Are they a5descendants of Abraham ? 6So am I.

Are they 7servants of Christ ?-I speak as if insane -I more so ; in b8far more labors, in c9far more imprisonments, d10beaten times without number, often in 11danger of death.

Five times I received from the Jews 12thirty-nine lashes.

Three times I was 13beaten with rods, once I was 14stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep.

I have been on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my 15countrymen, dangers from the 16Gentiles, dangers in the 17city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among 18false brethren ;

I have been in 19labor and hardship, ethrough many sleepless nights, in 20hunger and thirst, often 21without food, in cold and f22exposure.

Apart from such gexternal things, there is the daily pressure on me of concern for 23all the churches.
