But onewhom you forgiveanything, I forgive also; for indeedwhat I have forgiven, if I have forgivenanything, I did it for your sakes1in the presence of Christ,
11so that noadvantage would be taken of us by 2Satan, for 3we are not ignorant of his schemes.
12Now when I came to 4Troas for the 5gospel of Christ and when a 6door was opened for me in the Lord,
I 7hadnorest for my spirit, not finding8Titus my brother; but 9taking my leave of them, I went on to 10Macedonia.
1411But thanks be to God, who always12leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifeststhrough us the 13sweetaroma of the 14knowledge of Him in everyplace.
For we are a 15fragrance of Christ to Godamong16those who are being saved and amongthose who are perishing;
1617to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is 18adequate for thesethings?
For we are not likemany, a19peddling the word of God, but 20as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ21in the sight of God.
