He said, "1All is well. My master has sent me, saying, 'Behold, justnowtwoyoungmen of the sons of the prophets have come to me from 2the hillcountry of Ephraim. Pleasegive them a talent of silver and 3twochanges of clothes.' "
23Naamansaid, "4Be pleased to take two talents." And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in twobags with twochanges of clothes and gave them to two of his servants ; and they carried them before him.

When he came to the ahill, he took them from their hand and 5deposited them in the house, and he sent the menaway, and they departed.

But he went in and stoodbefore his master. And Elishasaid to him, "Where have you been, Gehazi ?" And he said, "6Your servantwentnowhere ."

Then he said to him, "Did not my heartgo with you, when the manturned from his chariot to meet you? 7Is it a time to receivemoney and to receiveclothes and olivegroves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and male and femaleservants ?

"Therefore, the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your bdescendantsforever." So he went out from his presence8a leper as white as snow.
