141Therefore, 2beloved, since you look for thesethings, be diligent to be 3found by Him in peace, 4spotless and blameless,

and regard the 5patience of our Lord as salvation ; just as also6our belovedbrotherPaul, 7according to the wisdomgiven him, wrote to you,

as also in all his letters, speaking in them of 8thesethings, 9in which are somethingshard to understand, which the untaught and 10unstabledistort, as they do also11the rest of the Scriptures, to their owndestruction.

You therefore, 12beloved, knowing this beforehand, 13be on your guardso that you are not carriedaway by 14the error of 15unprincipledmen and 16fall from your ownsteadfastness,

but grow in the grace and 17knowledge of our 18Lord and SaviorJesusChrist. 19To Him be the glory, bothnow and to the day of eternity. Amen.
