10Therefore, brethren, be all the morediligent to makecertain about His 1calling and 2choosing you; for as long as you practicethesethings, you will never3stumble ;
for in thisway the entrance into 4the eternalkingdom of our 5Lord and SaviorJesusChrist will be 6abundantly7supplied to you.
12Therefore, 8I will always be ready to remind you of thesethings, eventhough you already know them, and have been established in 9the truth which is present with you.
I consider it 10right, as long as I am in 11this earthly dwelling, to 12stir you up by way of reminder,
14knowing that 13the layingaside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, 14as also our LordJesusChrist has madeclear to me.
And I will also be diligent that at anytimeafter my 15departure you will be able to callthesethings to mind.
For we did not followcleverlydevised16tales when we madeknown to you the 17power and coming of our LordJesusChrist, but we were 18eyewitnesses of His majesty.
For when He receivedhonor and glory from God the Father, such an a19utterance as this was bmade to Him by the 20MajesticGlory, "This is My belovedSon with whom I amwell-pleased "-
and we ourselvesheardthiscutterancemade from heaven when we were with Him on the 21holymountain.
19dSo we have22the propheticword made more23sure, to which you dowell to payattention as to 24a lampshining in a darkplace, until the 25daydawns and the 26morningstararises27in your hearts.
But 28knowthisfirst of all, that 29noprophecy of Scripture is a matter of one'sowninterpretation,
