and that we will be 1rescued from aperverse and evilmen; for not all have bfaith.
But 2the Lord is faithful, cand He will strengthen and protect you dfrom 3the evil one.
We have4confidence in the Lordconcerning you, that you 5are doing and will continue to dowhat we command.
May the Lord6direct your hearts into the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ.
6Now we command you, brethren, 7in the name of our LordJesusChrist, that you e8keepaway from everybrother who fleads an g9unrulylife and not according to 10the traditionwhichhyou received from us.
For you yourselvesknowhow you ought to i11follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplinedmanneramong you,
8nor did we 12eatjanyone'sbreadkwithoutpaying for it, but with 13labor and hardship we kept 14workingnight and dayso that we would not be a burden to any of you;
not because we do not have15the right to this, but in order to offerourselves16as a model for you, so that you would lfollow our example.
For even17when we were with you, we used to give you thisorder: 18ifanyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.
For we hear that someamong you are 19leading an undisciplinedlife, doingnowork at all, but actinglike20busybodies.
12Nowsuchpersons we command and 21exhort in the LordJesusChrist to 22work in quietfashion and eat their ownbread.
