Young's Literal Translation
22
Now 1 flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness , 2 faith , love and peace , with those who 3 call on the Lord 4 from a pure heart .
23
But refuse foolish and ignorant 5 speculations , knowing that they 6 produce quarrels .
24
7 The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome , but be kind to all , 8 able to teach , patient when wronged ,
25
9 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition , 10 if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to 11 the knowledge of the truth ,
26
and they may come to their senses and escape from 12 the snare of the devil , having been 13 held captive by him to do his will .
