2 Timothy 2:22-26 (New American Standard)

22 Now 1flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, 2faith, love and peace, with those who 3call on the Lord 4from a pure heart. 23 But refuse foolish and ignorant 5speculations, knowing that they 6produce aquarrels. 24 7The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, 8able to teach, patient when wronged, 25 9with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, 10if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to 11the knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from 12the snare of the devil, having been 13held captive bby him to do his will.
