2 Timothy 4:2-5 (New American Standard)

2 preach 1the word ; be ready in season and out of season ; 2reprove, rebuke, exhort, with agreat 3patience and instruction. 3 For 4the time will come when they will not endure 5sound doctrine ; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and 6will turn away their ears from the truth and 7will turn aside to myths. 5 But you, 8be sober in all things, 9endure hardship, do the work of an 10evangelist, fulfill your 11ministry.
