6 For I am already being ¹poured out as a drink offering, and the time of ²my departure has come. 7 ³I have fought the good fight, I have finished ⁴the course, I have kept ⁵the faith ; 8 in the future there ⁶is laid up for me ⁷the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on ⁸that day ; and not only to me, but also to ⁹all who have loved His ¹⁰appearing.

9 ¹¹Make every effort to come to me soon ; 10 for ¹²Demas, having loved ¹³this present ^aworld, has deserted me and gone to ¹⁴Thessalonica ; Crescens has gone to ^b¹⁵Galatia, ¹⁶Titus to Dalmatia. 11 ¹⁷Only ¹⁸Luke is with me. Pick up ¹⁹Mark and bring him with you, ²⁰for he is useful to me for service. 12 But ²¹Tychicus I have sent to ²²Ephesus. 13 When you come bring the cloak which I left at ²³Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 ²⁴Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm ; ²⁵the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our ^cteaching. 16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; ²⁶may it not be counted against them.
