Personal Concerns

9 1Make every effort to come to me soon; 10 for 2Demas, having loved 3this present aworld, has deserted me and gone to 4Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to b5Galatia, 6Titus to Dalmatia. 11 7Only 8Luke is with me. Pick up 9Mark and bring him with you, 10for he is useful to me for service. 12 But 11Tychicus I have sent to 12Ephesus. 13 When you come bring the cloak which I left at 13Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments. 14 14Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; 15the Lord will repay him according to his deeds. 15 Be on guard against him yourself, for he vigorously opposed our cteaching. 16 At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; 16may it not be counted against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and 17strengthened me, so that through me 18the proclamation might dbe 19fully accomplished, and that all 20the Gentiles might hear; and I was 21rescued out of 22the lion's mouth. 18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will e23bring me safely to His 24heavenly kingdom; 25to fHim be the glory forever and ever. Amen. 19 Greet Prisca and 26Aquila, and 27the household of Onesiphorus. 20 28Erastus remained at 29Corinth, but 30Trophimus I left sick at 31Miletus. 21 32Make every effort to come before 33winter. Eubulus greets you, also Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren. 22 34The Lord be with your spirit. 35Grace be with you.
