For I 1was veryglad when 2brethrencame and testified to your truth, that is, how you 3are walking in truth.

Beloved, you are actingfaithfully in whatever* you accomplish for the 6brethren, and [b]especially when they are 7strangers;

and they have testified to your lovebefore the church. You will dowell to 8send them on their way in a manner9worthy of God.

For thisreason, 13if I come, I will callattention to his deedswhich he does, unjustlyaccusing us with wickedwords; and not satisfied with this, he himself does not 14receive the 15brethren, either, and he forbidsthose who desire to do so and 16puts them out of the church.

Demetrius20has received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truthitself; and we add our testimony, and 21you know that our testimony is true.
