But there were some of them, men of 7Cyprus and 8Cyrene, whocame to 9Antioch and began speaking to the 10Greeksalso, 11preaching the LordJesus.

And 12the hand of the Lord was with them, and 13a largenumber who believedturned to the Lord.

The newsabout them reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent14Barnabasoff to 15Antioch.

Then when he arrived and witnessed16the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resoluteheart to remain true to the Lord;

for he was a goodman, and 17full of the HolySpirit and of faith. And 18considerablenumbers were brought to the Lord.

One of them named26Agabusstood up and began to indicate by the Spirit that there wouldcertainly be a greatfamine27allover the world. And thistookplace in the reign of 28Claudius.
