Acts 15:33-41

After they had spent time there, they were sent away from the brethren 1in peace to those who had 2sent them out.
[But it seemed good to Silas to remain there.]
But 3Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and 4preaching with many others also, 5the word of the Lord.

Second Missionary Journey

After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let us return and visit the brethren in 6every city in which we proclaimed 7the word of the Lord, and see how they are."
Barnabas wanted to take 8John, called Mark, along with them also.
But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had 9deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work.
And there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took 10Mark with him and sailed away to 11Cyprus.
But Paul chose 12Silas and left, being 13committed by the brethren to the grace of the Lord.
And he was traveling through 14Syria and 15Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
