Then we went on board the ship, and they returned1home again.

When we had finished the voyage from 2Tyre, we arrived at Ptolemais, and after greeting3the brethren, we stayed with them for a day.

On the nextday we left and came to 4Caesarea, and entering the house of 5Philip the 6evangelist, who was 7one of the seven, we stayed with him.

Nowthismanhadfourvirgindaughters who were 8prophetesses.

As we were staying there for somedays, a prophetnamed9Agabuscamedown from Judea.

And coming to us, he 10tookPaul'sbelt and bound his ownfeet and hands, and said, "This11is what the HolySpiritsays: 'In thisway the Jews at Jerusalem will 12bind the manwhoownsthisbelt and 13deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.' "

When we had heardthis, we as well as the localresidents began begging him 14not to go up to Jerusalem.

ThenPaulanswered, "What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For 15I amready not only to be bound, but even to die at Jerusalem for 16the name of the LordJesus."

And since he would not be persuaded, we fellsilent, remarking, "17The will of the Lord be done!"

Some of 19the disciples from 20Caesareaalsocame with us, taking us to Mnason of 21Cyprus, a 22disciple of longstanding with whom we were to lodge.
