But now you also, 1put them all aside : 2anger, wrath, malice, slander, and 3abusive speech from your mouth.
9
a4Do not lie to one another, since you 5laid aside the old bself with its evil practices,
10
and have 6put on the new self who is being c7renewed to a true knowledge 8according to the image of the One who 9created him-
11
a renewal in which 10there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 11circumcised and uncircumcised, d12barbarian, Scythian, 13slave and freeman, but 14Christ is all, and in all.

So, as those who have been 15chosen of God, holy and beloved, 16put on a 17heart of compassion, kindness, 18humility, gentleness and e19patience ;
13
20bearing with one another, and 21forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone ; 22just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.
14
Beyond all these things put on love, which is f23the perfect bond of 24unity.
15
Let 25the peace of Christ grule in your hearts, to which hindeed you were called in 26one body ; and ibe thankful.
16
Let 27the word of jChrist richly dwell within you, kwith all wisdom 28teaching and admonishing lone another 29with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, 30singing mwith thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17
31Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, 32giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
