Colossians 1:10-20

so that you will 1walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, [a]2to please Him in all respects, 3bearing fruit in every good work and [b]increasing in the [c]knowledge of God;
4strengthened with all power, according to [d]His glorious might, [e]for the attaining of all steadfastness and [f]patience; 5joyously
giving thanks to 6the Father, who has qualified us [g]to share in 7the inheritance of the [h]saints in 8Light.

The Incomparable Christ

[i]For He rescued us from the [j]9domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of [k]10His beloved Son,
11in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
[l]He is the 12image of the 13invisible God, the 14firstborn of all creation.
For [m]15by Him all things were created, 16both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether 17thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -18all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He [n]19is before all things, and in Him all things [o]hold together.
He is also 20head of 21the body, the church; and He is 22the beginning, 23the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
For [p]it was 24the Father's good pleasure for all 25the [q]fullness to dwell in Him,
and through Him to 26reconcile all things to Himself, having made 27peace through 28the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, 29whether things on earth or things in [r]heaven.
